Good day my little macaroons !
So this is my first posting in this blog. I've been noticing photo blogs from around the world, from many countries. People from these countries snapping photos from all different cities such as Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Dubai just to name a few. It inspired me to start my own blog to show people my corner of the world. We all have something to share, and someone somewhere is curious about where you live.
I also feel that the quote above is very fitting. As a child my father used to show us the movie, Auntie Mame, a lady who took care of her nephew. Though she often got drunk and threw parties, she did teach her nephew to travel the world and enjoy life to the fullest. There is a whole world out there, so much to see, and so many people don't get to enjoy that.
So I will be posting pictures of San Jose, California which is the large city in the San Francisco Bay Area. I will also include pictures of other cities in the area.
The heading on this blog was taken today to kick off this new blog, and it is of an old building in the middle of the newer buildings that are on that street. This building houses law firms, a restaurant, bar and apartments. It is also my old neighborhood. I lived on that street until March 2009, and I miss it very much.
So welcome ! And if you have a picture blog, please do share ! I would love to add your blog to my blogroll.

I have some great pictures of Tangier. I forgot to add that to the cities I have visited when I was in Spain it was just a couple of hours by car and ferry. I should post some.
ReplyDeleteHi Liam,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you over here !
I think that you should have a photo blog too. You could do it now, or it could be something to think about when you scrap your current blog.
I used to have a picture blog. lol. It went bye bye when my computer got hacked.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!! I love those areas of Cali!
ReplyDeleteDad,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you up here ! Welcome :)
You're inspiring. I used to sing a song: "On the Street Where You Live." That'll probably start rattling around in my head every time I stop by here. And I'm sure that will be frequent. I'm thinking about a photo blog of my own.
ReplyDeleteToday (Thurs) thru Saturday, though, I will be out of pocket at a writers' conference. Starts at noon. I'm ready, set, GOne.
Welcome to the City Daily Photo Club. I lived for seven years in San Francisco before returning to my native country two years ago, so seeing your pictures will remind me of my home away from home.
