What a blessing you got to visit Paris. It's hard not to snap pictures everywhere you look. Sounds like you had fun. And your riming was impeccable...you left before all the protests.
This looks to be Pont Neuf, the "new bridge", completed in 1610 under orders from Henri IV, who was assassinated on nearby rue Ferronerie that same year.
