I was in San Francisco this past weekend and this man seems to be waiting for the sun to go down so he could go to sleep where ever it is that he sleeps. He is probably homeless as there are a lot of homeless men on the streets in San Francisco.
This was taken at the Pier, I forget which one exactly. While all of the tourists ( myself and my friends included) were busy waiting in line or hurrying to see the next site (we were scurrying to see the Golden Gate Bridge before sundown) this man was just taking it easy the whole time. Not a care in the world. At least not for now.
I hope you had a good time here in SF. Yes, you are right, there are a lot of homeless people in the city.
ReplyDeletebtw: thanks for visiting my blog, and the picture was taken at the "Muni" station "Powell". Maybe you rode the train yourself this weekend?
Hi Ursel,
ReplyDeleteI rode BART, and I took the shuttle from the Golden Gate Bridge to Fort Mason.
Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
This is a great, great picture
ReplyDeleteThis image does a fine job of capturing the 'waiting' theme!
