A Blast From The Past
I know I am a San Jose Senorita. I live in California. However, I feel like reminiscing a little. This picture was taken in Cadaques, Spain in 2005. This is close to Port Lligat, which is Salvador Dali's hometown. I was here to visit his house, and I traveled alone by bus.
I lived in Barcelona, and was traveling alone. I did meet a lot of people, but they didn't have the same schedule as I. Therefore if I wanted to visit someplace, I had to do it myself. This was a peaceful day. I had a lot of fun, took pictures, ate ice cream, and chatted with a restaurant owner.
Good times.

Mendocino Sunset
Hi,
So this is another picture from my Mendocino series. I've seen sunsets before, but on this day, it totally captivated my heart and soul. It was like I had never seen a sunset before. And for the first time, I was appreciating it. How many people go about their lives while beauty like this is right in front of them and they don't even know it ?
I just felt lucky to be able to see this and capture it on my camera.

Photo Blog Theme- The Best of 2009
Hola,
So I see that the theme of this month is the Best of 2009. I will post some pictures that didn't make it last year. Then I will resume posting pictures of Mendocino.
I just moved back to downtown San Jose, and below are photos of my neighborhood area.
Below is a picture of an older building 2 blocks away from me. This is a really old building that hasn't been torn down. There is a bar below, and apartments above. I was told that the apartments were used for prostitutes back in the 1800s.

The mailboxes of the apartments, and the stairway out of the building:
If I haven't said so before, have a happy 2010 !

After The Rain
This photo was taken sometime in November. Basically, we have a water foutain at work, and when the flowers and leaves fall off the trees, it gets carried into the waterfall and sits until it gets fished out. I think this is quite pretty.
